Job Description

Our client is looking for Workday Systems Analyst located in Metro Detroit 
 
Position Details:
  • Serve as a Workday subject matter expert, supporting finance processes throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with business partners to design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in Workday that facilitate informed decision making.
  • Develop and configure Workday forms to streamline business processes.
  • Configure, test, document, and implement changes within Workday financial systems.
  • Document and analyze finance processes to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Create comprehensive training materials and conduct training sessions for Workday users.
  • Respond promptly to requests for financial reports and data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Workday system issues reported by team members.
  • Manipulate and analyze large datasets in Workday to derive actionable insights.
  • Manage Workday system security and ensure proper access provisioning.
  • Conduct regular audits of Workday system access to maintain security compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues.
  • Build strong relationships with Workday vendors and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to audit requirements and are well-documented.
Must have:
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting, business administration, information technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience configuring Workday financials.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday reporting tools and functionalities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
  • Previous experience in providing support for enterprise systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proactive and creative mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
