Harvard Resource Solutions is currently seeking a Wire Harness Technician for our client located in the Southfield, MI area. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join a fast-paced, innovative environment supporting prototype vehicle and engineering development.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. Long term contract. PAY: $24.00- $26.00 per hour
Assemble wire harnesses from detailed work instructions, blueprints, and sample harnesses
Perform various tasks including soldering, crimping, wire prep, counting, and de-pinning
Build, repair, modify, and disassemble custom wire harnesses for prototype vehicles and test equipment
Track project parts and maintain inventory of supplies
Tear down and rework harnesses as needed
Accurately record build times and project data
Ensure high-quality standards are met and provide exceptional service
2+ years of hands-on experience in wire harness assembly
Experience with complex harness builds (dashboard, console, interior wiring)
Prototype harness experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Proficient in soldering, crimping, wire preparation, and de-pinning
Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Reliable transportation is required
Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM 5:30 PM
Includes a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks
