OVERVIEW
Our client, a privately owned company in Metro Detroit, is seeking a VP of Accounting/Finance to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in accounting and finance at a company in their early development stages.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the VP of Accounting/Finance
Overall accounting and financial process ownership for the team, and will mentor team members
Will provide high level strategic support of organization and make the necessary financial recommendations
VP of Accounting/Finance will be responsible for the presentation of monthly reporting packages to the Executive Team
VP of Accounting/Finance will evaluate current market conditions and advise of potential risks or opportunities

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of the VP of Accounting/Finance
15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
Expert in Excel knowledge, Pivot Tables, Vlookup and SUMIF formulas
Working knowledge of ERP system
