Job Description

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Tax Manager for an boutique investment management client in Birmingham, MI. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team, and growth oriented company.

REQUIREMENTS of the Tax Manager

Bachelor's degree in accounting, and/or advanced degree in Tax; CPA/EA preferred.
Minimum five years experience with a large CPA firm, providing business and individual federal and multi-state tax accounting, compliance, projections, research and analysis.
Minimum three years tax experience specifically with related, tiered business structures, including partnerships, S corporations, single member LLCs, and individual owner.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Tax Manager

Book/tax adjustments
   Installment sale calculations
   Tax basis calculation
   Business interest limitation
   Business loss limitations
   Multi-state non-resident withholding/composite tax return
   Alternative minimum tax
   Passive loss limitations
   Capital loss limitations
   Self- employment tax
   Net Investment Income tax
   Working knowledge of Excel
   Basic knowledge of treatment of non-U.S. partners
