Our client is looking for a SENIOR TAX ANALYST located in Troy, MI.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support outsourcing of direct and indirect taxes (sales & use, property tax)
- Review federal, state and local income/franchise tax returns
- Assist in review of tax accounts
- Assist with accumulation of transfer pricing documentation
- Initiate ideas and propose implementation plans to streamline processes and procedures
- Assist in accumulation of information for federal and state audits
- Research federal and state tax questions on an as needed basis
- Exposure to federal, state and local taxes, federal and state tax audits, financial reporting and international tax areas
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BS or BA in Accounting or Business related field required
- Masters preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred
- Minimum of 5 years professional tax experience required
- ASC 740 experience preferred
- Able to articulate complex technical tax and accounting concepts to colleagues and management less familiar with tax
