Our client is looking for Sr. Plex Analyst
The PLEX Analyst / Project Manager IT will provide functional oversight and guidance on all ERP project and support activities in the area. This individual will work with business executives and end-users to get aligned on business requirements and the proposed IT solutions.
Lead or support business process re-engineering for best practice, and ERP fit
Provide functional and technical expertise to IT and departmental team members
Identifying and proposing application system changes, better uses, enhancements
Developments and liaising with appropriate vendors, users, and the IT Team
Assist when required in the IT Helpdesk Analyst function in application or architecture support.
Contribute to the configuration of PLEX during the ERP implementation project and provide on-going ERP support with a strong focus on the area of Finance
Analyze PLEX modules current state (As-Is) setup, identify any gaps and propose future state (To-Be)
Support the set-up of application integrations between and third-party applications
Be the gatekeeper for the company to make sure the organization is applying best practices and industry standards
Provide post go-live support for all assigned PLEX modules
Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel in IT and Finance at Corporate or in operating companies
Create user and functional documentation
Create test plans, test cases, and perform functional testing
Document Business processes as required
Manage workload effectively to ensure incidents are recorded, updated and resolved in line with priorities
Identify problems through analysis of applications
Identify continual service improvement initiatives
Provide training to all stakeholders
Skills & Attributes
Strong communicator, with clear concise style
Analytical problem solver
Project manager for improvement initiatives
Foreign language skill preferred
Excellent customer experience and service skills
Experience in a global, medium-sized business environment in the manufacturing or distribution industry
5 years of PLEX experience
Ability to flex in support of changing deadlines and new business requirements.
Education/Experience
Bachelor degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of Plex ERP experience preferred
Global Plex ERP implementation experience preferred
Experience support manufacturing operations required
Travel
25% - Travel required
