Summary:
This role is responsible for the preparation, validation, and analysis of financial data related to fixed assets. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate fixed asset records, preparing journal entries, and performing monthly reconciliations of fixed asset and general ledger accounts. The position requires close collaboration with internal departments to address asset-related accounting matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly fixed asset reconciliations; resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Review capital projects and purchase requests to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal capital policies
Coordinate with departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of asset retirements
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
Assist with preparation of footnote disclosures for quarterly and annual financial reports
Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
Preferred Qualifications:
Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
