Job Description

Our client is looking for Sr. EMR Analyst

Job Requirements:

  • Master s in Health Informatics or related field/experience preferred.
  • Bachelor s in Computer Information Systems or related field required.
  • 5+ years of IT and Healthcare experience.
  • IT Project Management experience required.

Job Summary:

  • Stay current with trends via workshops and certifications.
  • Develop, configure, test, and implement EHR software with minimal supervision.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and IT, ensuring smooth EHR operations.
  • Configure and maintain EHR systems.
  • Participate in quality projects and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize workflows.
  • Generate reports, analyze issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with best practices and resolve complex system problems.
  • Train staff on EHR systems and provide ongoing support as needed.
  • Ensure EHR meets clinical, safety, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA compliance.
  • Lead projects from planning to deployment, managing scope, budget, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to meet project goals.
  • Maintain documentation and provide status updates to management.
  • Participate in IT on-call rotation for off-hours support.
