A Leading Automotive Supplier in Troy, Michigan needs a Sr. Accounting Manager. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager who will assist the Corporate Controller in all aspects of financial / accounting related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform and responsible for A/P, A/R accounting duties
- Assist with month-end closing including preparing and posting accrual journal entries
- Assist with monthly financial statements and reports
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliation
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters
- Assist with weekly flash, quarterly forecast and annual budget
- Assist with annual audit package
- Additional duties as assigned
- Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- SAP Experience
