We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst to provide support in Troy, MI.
POSITION TYPE: Full Time, open ended contract, hybrid. PAY: $32.00 to $37.00 per hour
Requirements of the Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting required.
5+ years of experience in Accounting and Financial Analysis required.
High level of US GAAP knowledge required.
Insurance industry experience a major plus.
Skilled with journal entries, complex account reconcliations, month end close, statement preparation.
Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
Team player who can work well with other functional groups
Duites of the Sr. Accountant / Financial Analyst
Prepare journal entries and complex account reconciliations to support the month end close process.
Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Support ongoing financial analysis projects.
Prepare for and take part in audits.
