Software Engineer

Minimum 5 Years experience in Software Engineering

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Wixom. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in programming Labview.

Requirements of the Software Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong LabVIEW skills, LabVIEW certified (CLAD, CLD, CLA) preferred
• Hands-on experience on working with instrumentation drivers for data acquisition devices
• Experience working with instrumentation protocols like GPIB, Serial, Modbus, TCP/IP, USB
• Familiar with Windows Application Development (WinAPI, external libraries, networking basics)
• Familiar with C++, LabWindows CVI
• Familiar with test executive software like NI TestStand
• Familiar with databases and database management systems like MS SQL server

Responsibilities of the Software Engineer

• Develop and implement software
• Program test systems in LabVIEW
• Scheduling projects / timelines and estimating work schedules
• Develop test procedures based on CMMs for test parts
• Code in C++, LabVIEW, LabWindows CVI
