We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Land Development Manager to oversee the planning, design, permitting, and construction of residential, commercial, or mixed-use land development projects. The ideal candidate will manage development projects from acquisition through construction, ensuring that all aspects of the process are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Manage all phases of land development including due diligence, design, entitlements, permitting, and construction.
Coordinate with internal teams (acquisitions, legal, construction) and external consultants (engineers, architects, planners, surveyors) to ensure smooth execution of development projects.
Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
Interface with municipal, county, and state agencies to obtain necessary approvals, permits, and entitlements.
Oversee site grading, utility installation, roadway construction, and other infrastructure improvements.
Manage construction bids, contractor selection, and project execution.
Ensure projects meet all regulatory and environmental requirements.
Maintain detailed records and regularly report on project status, risks, and progress.
Negotiate and manage contracts, easements, and development agreements.
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field desired
5+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering, or related field.
Proven track record of managing multiple development projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of zoning, entitlement, permitting, and infrastructure development.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
