Venteon / Harvard Resource Solutions is hiring a SERVICE BILLER to provide support for a large industrial organization. Assist the Accounting team by calculating and generating invoices for services due.
POSITION TYPE: Full time, Direct Hire, Onsite PAY: $20.00-$23.00 per hour plus PTO and Benefits package
Requirements of the Service Biller:
Associates degree desired, not required. High school diploma needed.
Minimum 3 years of billing experience for high volume accounts.
Experience generating complex invoices per customer specifications.
Understanding of debits/credits. Experience posting payments.
Technical skills with MS Office including Excel required.
Technical skills with Microsoft Dynamics GP are a major plus.
Duties of the Service Biller:
Gather information and customer specific guidelines needed to generate invoices.
Process simple to complex invoices for sales, services, installations, commercial contracts, fleet services, etc.
Enter financial and billing information into the accounting system.
Distribute invoices via email, customer portals, etc.
Apply incoming payments to customer accounts.
Research, reconcile, and resolve payment differences. Adjust invoices as necessary to ensure accurate account balances.
Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices to collect payments.
Escalate billing or collections issues to manager for support and guidance as needed.
Generate accounts receivable reports.
Maintain customer records and billing files.
Provide support for audits.
Take part in continuous improvement activities.
