Venteon Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst for a global automotive supplier client located in Ann Arbor. 

Requirements of the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

• Bachelor s degree in accounting; CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within a publicly traded company or Big 4 accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex accounting issues.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP.
• Monitor changes in SEC regulations and GAAP, ensuring timely updates to reporting procedures and policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting standards.
• Conduct detailed financial statement analysis and support the preparation of earnings releases and other investor communications.
• Coordinate with various internal cross-functional teams and external auditors to gather and analyze financial data.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting processes and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as required, providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial reporting processes and support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
