Our mid-sized manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Accountant to fill an opening in their Metro Detroit location. The ideal candidate should have a strong acumen in accounting/finance and an eagerness to learn new areas.
Requirements of the Senior Accountant :
4+ years experience in Finance/Accounting
Bachelor's Degree in Related field

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Oversees finance and accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely information recording and publishing.
Manages financial reporting, cash management, accounting, costing, and administrative support to maintain the integrity and security of financial records.
Collaborates with the Director of FP&A and key managers on the annual budget and systems to track monthly performance against the budget.
Helps managers identify, report, and correct budget variances.
Maintains a system to consistently monitor organizational progress towards cost and gross margin targets, ensuring proper cost recording and timely, accurate billing.
