Job Description

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to fill an opening with a well-established manufacturing company that is based in Jacksonville, Arkansas. 
 
Requirements of the Senior Financial Analyst
  • Bachelor s in finance or accounting required. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 4-7 years of Finance/Accounting experience with demonstrated success in career progression and increased responsibility.
  • CPA or CMA a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office including advanced skills in Excel working with large sets of data.
  • Prior experience Hyperion or similar planning tool is required. Experience w/ with ERP Systems
  • Prior experience within Defense & Aerospace industry is a plus but not required.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills; GAAP sound.
  • Strong communication, presentation, leadership, interpersonal, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, and self-directed with the ability to relate to all levels of an organization.
  • This position is NOT a Remote opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and trends.
  • Support Operations leadership providing performance analysis and insights/recommendations to reduce manufacturing cost structure leading to greater profitability.
  • Complete daily analytics on manufacturing activity as required.
  • Ensure Work Order process remains in control with timely recording of inventory movements.
  • Implement process improvements, and ensure corporate controls and policies are adhered to
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
  • Support and assist with the daily/weekly/monthly cycle count program administration and related reporting.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities for manufacturing operations.
  • Assist in the development of KPI dashboards to measure operational performance.
  • Identify production issues and coordinate resolution with management and team members, internal/external business partners, and IT.
  • Support actual-to-standard manufacturing variance analysis as follows:
    • analyze and verify monthly labor utilization and efficiency.
    • headcount management & analysis by function / category.
  • Perform other related duties and specified projects including, but not limited to:
    • Support the Finance Cost group on manufacturing processes within Ammunition.
    • Support Plant Management on data analytics and reporting needs.
  • Assist and support internal and external audit requests.
