Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT for one of the most well-known and respected companies in Michigan.
REQUIREMENTS of the Senior Financial Accountant role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
5 + years of experience in Accounting ( corporate and / or public accounting )
Strong Data manipulation and analysis experience
Advanced degree and / or Designation preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Financial Accountant
Records complex monthly journal entries in SAP in accordance with corporate timelines
Analyzes financial information to ensure transactions are processed accurately in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ensures general ledger accounts are reconciled in a timely manner
Reports and analyzes business performance
Performs variance analysis on various financial reporting views
Creates or updates documentation of accounting processes and procedures
Prepares data for external reporting purposes
