Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR FP&A ANALYST for a dynamic and growing company in Detroit Michigan. This position will be responsible for consolidating and validating the actual budget and/or forecast of key performance metrics, key drivers and assumptions to aid in the development of various models
REQUIREMENTS of the SENIOR FP&A ANALYST role
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A and Analysis
- Strong Data analysis and manipulation skills and experience
- Experience with SQL, Tableau and advanced MS Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES of the SENIOR FP&A ANALYST
- Manage accurate entity structure, data set and calculation in the budget/forecast system.
- Create, maintain and ensure accuracy of templates within various system.
- Analyze financial and operational results versus forecast and plan, and forecast and actual; research variances and understand the root causes of the variance.
- Monitor internal Labor Dashboards to ensure accuracy and research variances as needed.
- Develop key reporting within various systems to provide timely and actionable financial results
- Participate in the forecast/budget software implementation and development; assist in evaluation and development of additional models.
- Evaluate Company systems and processes for accumulating and reporting data to provide value, adding recommendations to various departments
- Perform data analytics over large data sets, summarizing the information into executive level summaries.
