Requirements of the Senior Applications Engineer

• Professional Experience:

• 3 to 5 years experience in the field of Thermal systems in the automotive industry
• Demonstrated skills in thermal systems, leadership, problem-solving, quality driven mindset
• Strong engineering and project management background
• Ability and competence to coordinate engineering tasks and best practices across multiple departments

• Technical Experience:

• In-depth know-how in APQP and FMEA
• Expertise in Thermal Management architectures with focus on BEV, PHEV.
• Solid know how on refrigerant systems and the refrigerant (R134a, R1234yf, R744, R290).

• Education:
  Minimum of BSME or related engineering degree

Responsibilities of the Senior Applications Engineer

• Development and adaption of  Modules and Systems products for customer needs.
• Interface to the customer and to the other departments.
• Execute AE/AET projects according to AQP, on time, on spec, on budget for smooth serial production launch.
• Define and secure project budgets and resource allocation.
• Ensure that the application engineering tasks within the projects are completed on time and within the specified budget.
• Check customer technical product requirements and ensure compliance.
• Analysis and adaption of customer Thermal system concepts to improve performance and to reduce system cost.
• Active development of a joint corporation between customers 
• Understand future customer and market needs and forward information to advanced developments teams.
• Alignment on MAS engineering activities with the other regions and the supervisor.
• Business trip share of approximately 30%.
• Carry over of additional tasks and responsibilities within the job description.
