Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE for a stable and growing Financial Services client in Oakland County. REQUIREMENTS of the Senior Accounting Associate
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2+ Years of related Accounting experience
Credit Union or Banking experience preffered
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Accounting Associate
Prepares weekly branch production status reports, monthly allowance for loan loss calculations, data for monthly ALM reporting, Board and ALCO packets, quarterly NCUA Call Reporting, and vendor management maintenance and reporting.
Monitors workflow and processes of the department to identify and recommend enhancements and effective resource allocation
Provides support to the CFO in the preparation of the annual Financial Budget and assists in modeling and producing what-if scenarios for the Financial Budget given potential product and projects proposed by management
Provides subject matter expertise to Team Members and Management with accounting-related issues and questions.
Monitors all expense accounts and recommends methods for eliminating or minimizing costs.
