Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst for a global manufacturing company located in Novi, MI. The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company s overall financial success.
Requirements of the Senior Accounting Analyst
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years experience
- Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.
- Experience in preparation of USGAAP Financial Statements and Consolidated Statements
- Experience in posting daily journal entries, accruals, and preparing and reviewing reconciliations
- CPA or MBA would be a plus but not necessarily required
- Strong analytical and quantitative competencies
- Ability to multi-task and solve problems

Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst
- Assure integrity and completeness of month-end close of all balance sheet accounts and perform related account reconciliation, analysis, and preparation.
- Maintain account ledgers by preparing or reviewing account transactions, recurring entries, and month-end accruals.
- Supports the monthly and quarterly preparation and analysis of the financial statements for group financial statement package and consolidations.
- Supports ongoing process improvements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
