Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT for a stable non-automotive manufacturing client in Rochester Hills.
REQUIREMENTS for the Senior Accountant role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and Month-End Close
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
ERP Systems Experience
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Accountant role
Execute month end close activities, including journal entries and accruals
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare monthly variance analyses and support financial reporting
Support year end close and audit requests, both internal and external
Process and oversee accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, payments
Support internal controls and documentation
Collaborate closely with finance leadership and cross functional team
