Senior Accountant Hybrid Position Healthcare Equipment Provider in Farmington Hills, MI
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to fill an opening with a leading medical equipment distributor, in Farmington Hills, MI.
Requirements for the Senior Accountant
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting and financial experience.
Demonstrated ability in finance management, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong proficiency in general ledger and financial analysis.
Familiarity with state and federal accounting regulations.
Experience in multi-state sales tax filing and adept in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel functions.
Excellent organizational skills to oversee multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
Serve as the primary contact for all accounting-related inquiries.
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of financial closing activities, account analyses, and reporting.
Conduct detailed balance sheet account analyses and adjustments.
Manage inventory reconciliation, A/P and A/R functions, and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Prepare and analyze various financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
Oversee leases and financial commitments and participate in budgeting processes.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with accounting legislation and standards.
