Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT for a dynamic and stable company in Detroit Michigan.
REQUIREMENTS of the Senior Accountant role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
2+ years of experience Accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP
CPA Designation preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Accountant
Prepares and/or reviews journal entries at all levels of complexity, within Company closing schedule
Performs account reconciliations at all levels of complexity
Monitors the general ledger and accounting systems that contain the financial records and databases
Prepares and fully understands the billing and accounting for various projects as defined in the various project agreements
Understands and adheres to internal control policies and procedures
Prepares independent audit schedules as required
Participates in the development of budgets and projections
Performs all other related duties as assigned
