SUMMARY
Our client, is a large, stable distribution company, in the Metro Detroit area. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to add to their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES of Senior Accountant
Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries and account reconciliations to support the month end close process.
Senior Accountant will help prepare consolidated financial statements.
Senior Accountant will help with internal control and procedure documentation.
Support physical inventory counts and help with Excess/Obsolete inventory analysis
Help prepare relevant journal entries as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of Senior Accountant
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting required
5+ years of experience in Accounting required
High level of US GAAP knowledge
Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
Team player who can work well with other functional groups
