Minimum 3 years of Sales and Engineering Experience
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Sales & Engineering Manager to fill an opening with a Tier 2 manufacturing company north of the Detroit area. Must have experience selling technical (ideally plastic) components and helping with the technical delivery of products.
Requirements of the Sales and Engineering Manager
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities of the Sales and Engineering Manager
Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring consistent communication and high satisfaction.
Translate customer needs into manufacturable solutions and align internal capabilities with external demands.
Conduct on-site customer visits, project reviews, and technical discussions to maintain strong partnerships.
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in target markets (automotive, medical, consumer goods, etc.).
Identify new business opportunities and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Provide technical guidance during quoting, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and mold flow analysis processes.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.
