Job Description

Venteon Finance is seeking an Revenue Cycle Manager for a healthcare company located in Troy. 

Requirements of the Revenue Cycle Manager

  • Familiarity with medical billing, Medicaid, and Medicare 
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and requirements relating to healthcare management 
  • Demonstrated medical coding and billing expertise 
  • Knowledge of medical terminology 
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or finance 

Responsibilities of the Revenue Cycle Manager

 
  • Managing accounts: Monitoring accounts receivables activity and overseeing monthly close processes 
  • Ensuring accurate billing: Ensuring accurate billing of insurance providers and patients 
  • Documenting denials: Documenting medical billing denials from insurance providers 
  • Managing revenue cycle: Overseeing coding, billing, collections, and denial management 
  • Improving cash flow: Minimizing bad debt and effectively managing accounts receivables 
  • Training staff: Providing coding education to clinical and coding/billing staff, and training new staff members 
  • Analyzing data: Creating reports, identifying lost revenue, and evaluating billing processes and procedures 
  • Implementing strategies: Implementing revenue cycle management (RCM) strategies to minimize losses
