Venteon is currently seeking a Regional Controller to fill an opening with a multi-national manufacturing company located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Requirements of the Regional Controller
Master s degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics
10+ years of manufacturing finance, accounting & controlling experience.
Good understanding of financial (ERP) systems preferably SAP
Highly analytical, detail oriented and collaborative
Advanced Excel skills and intermediate experience with PowerPoint
Conceptual knowledge of IFRS and Cost Accounting
Willingness to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities of the Regional Controller
Corporate Reporting -Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly managerial and IFRS reporting of financial results and company performance.
Forecasting & Budgeting - Preparation of Mid-Month forecasts until end of the year, Operating Plan for next year and Strategic Plans for following years based on Sales Plan. Co-ordinate with Plant Manager, Production, HR and other departments headcount requirements and other resources necessary to achieve Sales and Profitability targets.
Profitability Management - Participate in quotation process of new businesses and new products costing. Define and maintain Standard costing system supporting proper profitability analysis. Review of cost center cycles and allocations in SAP.
Support for Plant Management team in all financial aspects - Providing input to decision making process. Cost control and approval of Purchase Orders, expense reports, Disposal and Scrap documents, stock adjustments etc. Identification of areas for operational and financial improvements
SAP - Provides support for the management of SAP. According to the requirements cooperates in the implementation of new functions, participates in upgrades and system changes, tests processes. Identifies and analyzes problems with the information system SAP, proposes corrective actions. Coordinates the setting of electronic data interchange EDI. Provides support and training to other users.
