Quality Excellence Lead
Minimum 5 Years experience in a Quality Leadership role
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Warsaw, Indiana. The ideal candidates should have a strong background quality and manufacturing, specifically in developing and maintaining quality systems.
Requirements of the Quality Excellence Lead
8+ years of experience with a Bachelor s degree, 6 years with a Master s, or 3 years with a PhD (or equivalent)
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
Hands-on experience with QMS/QOS implementation, execution, or improvement
Experience with quality data analysis, reporting, and metrics
Exposure to PLM, MES, and ERP systems preferred
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong documentation and process development skills
Ability to make data-driven decisions and support corrective/preventive actions
Experience supporting audits (ISO, IATF, VDA); certification a plus
Passion for quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Responsibilities of the Quality Excellence Lead
Act as a subject matter expert for QMS, QOS, and PMT deployment and sustainment
Support development, rollout, and continuous improvement of quality systems aligned with business goals
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, stability, and waste reduction
Support implementation, validation, training, and optimization of quality systems and tools
Gather user feedback and enhance system usability and effectiveness
Support supplier and manufacturing quality processes through QMS/QOS tools
Participate in internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up actions
Assist with supplier audits to ensure compliance and performance improvement
Monitor KPIs, identify risks, and support corrective and preventive actions
Analyze data to improve reporting accuracy and drive insights
Develop and deliver training on quality systems and best practices
Support system-related requests, tools, and process improvements
Participate in CI, Quality Excellence, and data-driven improvement projects
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance quality processes, methods, and tools
