Quality Excellence Lead 

Minimum 5 Years experience in a Quality Leadership role 

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Warsaw, Indiana. The ideal candidates should have a strong background quality and manufacturing, specifically in developing and maintaining quality systems. 

 

Requirements of the Quality Excellence Lead 

  • 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor s degree, 6 years with a Master s, or 3 years with a PhD (or equivalent)

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA

  • Hands-on experience with QMS/QOS implementation, execution, or improvement

  • Experience with quality data analysis, reporting, and metrics

  • Exposure to PLM, MES, and ERP systems preferred

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong documentation and process development skills

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and support corrective/preventive actions

  • Experience supporting audits (ISO, IATF, VDA); certification a plus

  • Passion for quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Responsibilities of the Quality Excellence Lead 

  • Act as a subject matter expert for QMS, QOS, and PMT deployment and sustainment

  • Support development, rollout, and continuous improvement of quality systems aligned with business goals

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, stability, and waste reduction

  • Support implementation, validation, training, and optimization of quality systems and tools

  • Gather user feedback and enhance system usability and effectiveness

  • Support supplier and manufacturing quality processes through QMS/QOS tools

  • Participate in internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up actions

  • Assist with supplier audits to ensure compliance and performance improvement

  • Monitor KPIs, identify risks, and support corrective and preventive actions

  • Analyze data to improve reporting accuracy and drive insights

  • Develop and deliver training on quality systems and best practices

  • Support system-related requests, tools, and process improvements

  • Participate in CI, Quality Excellence, and data-driven improvement projects

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance quality processes, methods, and tools
