Venteon is currently seeking a Quality Engineer in Sterling Heights MI.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
Quality Engineer Summary:
- Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes.
- Identify problems and offer possible solutions.
- Understand the cause and effects of both needed changes and/or wanted changes.
- Developing and implementing quality control systems / standards.
- Understand a requirement / spec and make recommendations for change and implementation.
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI s)
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Experience coding and using QA software tools and processes.
- SPC Software
- Gage R&R
- X BAR-R Charting
- Histogram charting
- Attribute Charting
- Process Control (CpK & Ppk)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to take conflict offline and discuss and accept the outcome.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Lead Corrective Action
- Understanding of a
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Able to show organizational skills and time management.
- Able to use Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint
- Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents and manuals.
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills
- Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulation
