Quality Engineer

Minimum 5 Years experience as a Quality Engineer

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Metro Detroit. The ideal candidates should have Tier 1 Automotive experience.

Requirements of the Quality Engineer

• Bachelor's Degree; Engineering degree preferred 
• 5+ years of Quality Experience 
• IATF Audit experience, Certification preferred 
• ERP Experience required, PLEX experience preferred

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer

• Create and maintain company quality documentation such as reports, manuals, and procedures all in compliance with record retention policies and procedures. 
• Respond to customer concerns by analyzing failures and recommending, driving, and/or monitoring corrective and preventive actions.  
• Investigate quality problems and apply sound technical judgment to aid in root cause problem solving (i.e.: 8D, 5 Why, etc.). 
• Act as company representative while interfacing with the customer.  
• Collaborate with all internal departments. 
• Assist with maintaining current TS and Q1 certifications.
