Seeking a Quality Associate near Auburn Hills for a 90 day contract to hire opportunity.

1st shift runs from 6 AM - 2 PM

This position would be on 1st shift.

Qualifications of the Quality Associate

• This is a great opportunity for a candidate with ambition who is action oriented, results driven, and has the desire to be part of a dynamic team
• At least three years of quality experience with injection molding (manufacturing environment)
• Must be able to read blue prints and previous knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with dimensional layouts and fabrications in a quality lab setting
• Experience using measuring tools that include calibers, height gages and micrometers
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:201
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and interpret policy documents
• Must have the ability to perform basic mathematical function
• This position requires to lift and move 10 50 pounds
• Ability to be self-sufficient and work independently
• Work effectively with cross functional team members
• Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)

• Responsibilities of the Quality Associate

• Perform inspection of incoming fabricated products and any outside molding/assembly parts
• Must be able to perform 100% inspection of parts
• Prepare paperwork for molding department
• Assist the Quality Technician out on the production floor with audits, nonconforming products, corrective measures, etc.
• Supports the Quality Supervisor maintain the overall management operating system
• This position may require travel if needed (less than 10%)
• Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as directed
