SUMMARY
Our client, is a growing, middle market manufacturing company, in the Metro Detroit area. They are seeking a Purchasing Manager to add to their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES of Purchasing Manager
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including issuing and tracking purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services.
Source and negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and product quality while supporting global purchasing efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production schedules, forecasts, and operational needs.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement issues such as delays, discrepancies, and quality concerns to ensure reliability and compliance.
Maintain accurate procurement records, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
