POSITION TYPE: 6 Month Contract that converts to direct hire. PAY: $30.00-40.00 Hour. Time and a Half after 40 hoursThe Project Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement activities for specific construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services. This role requires strong coordination with project managers, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project managers to understand project-specific procurement needs and timelines.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and secure necessary approvals.
- Issue purchase orders and manage procurement documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide regular reports on procurement status.
- Address and resolve any issues related to procurement delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all procurement activities.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project schedules.
- Coordinate fleet management to ensure timely procurement and maintenance of vehicles and equipment required for project execution.
