Our Client in the Metro Detroit Area is looking for an Project Engineer Conveyors with Autodesk Inventor experience or AutoCAD

Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer (Conveyors) Hybrid Position

20 years of  Solid Conveyor Experience 

• We have openings for career minded mechanical conveyor designers and engineers.
• Qualified individuals shall possess the following skill sets with 5+ year experience:
• Successful candidates will be part of a team responsible for:
• Bid package drawing and specification development.
• Conveyor system design and layout development
• Carrier design and detailing -Performing basic engineering calculations.
• Support engineering assignments with lite travel requirements
• Candidates should possess many of the following attributes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills -Proficient with AutoCAD and/or Inventor professional
• Experience designing automotive conveyor (Power & Free, Skillet, AGV, EMS, Friction drive systems)
• Basic understanding of structural design and strength of materials.
• Basic knowledge of equipment cycle time and simulation input requirements.
• Basic understanding of part transfer DVA methodology
