PROGRAM MANAGER - BLUFFTON, INDIANA
A Leading Manufacturing Company in Bluffton, Indiana needs a Program Manager. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and oversee manufacturing projects related to steel stamping and assemblies. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure they meet specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Lead and control all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) functions for new jobs awarded to Company, including all new tooling program launch activities.
Oversee customer service activities to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Manage Program Management responsibilities related to new business opportunities or changes to existing business.
Collaborate with external die and fixture design vendors to implement improvements or modifications to new or existing tooling as necessary.
Verify that all design features are as intended and ensure that all authorized design changes are accomplished and properly documented.
Maintain appropriate technical training and stay current with developments in the relevant field of expertise.
Demonstrate proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), welding symbols/specifications, and surface finish requirements.
Actively participate as a member of the APQP and Continuous Improvement Teams, contributing to process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
Reporting Relationships:
The Program Manager reports directly to and is fully accountable to the President of the company.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in Manufacturing, particularly with Steel Stamping and Welded Assemblies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Previous Program Management Experience. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
