Production Planner / Scheduler 

Minimum 5 Years experience in Production Planner

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Production Planner / Scheduler to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Supplier located in Metro Detroit, MI. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in Materials Planning and Scheduling. 

Requirements of the Production Planner 

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain or relevant field 
• Proven experience in related production-logistics field.
• Ability to create and understand reports to make production decisions.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities of the Production Planner 

• Ensure deadlines are met and provide quick responses to production problems.
• Create and maintain schedules.
• Provide quick responses to production issues.
• Identify problems and help improve processes.
• Ensure that company deadlines are met.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to achieve mutual satisfaction.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
• Excellent record-keeping abilities and a customer oriented approach.
