Principal Process Engineer

Minimum 5 Years experience in Process Engineering

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Supplier located in Troy, MI. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Molding or related processes. 

Requirements of the Principal Process Engineer

• Strong understanding of Plastic Injection molding or other plastic manufacturing processes 
• Tier 1 automotive experience 
• SPC of Six Sigma experience 
• Experience with DFMEA / PFMEA & DOE
• Tool design experience a plus

Responsibilities of the Principal Process Engineer

• Continuous Improvement of manufacturing processes 
• Develop and improve processes and process formulations, methods and controls 
• Revise product requirements and product development compatibility or processing methods to solve problems / reach cost & schedule targets
• Optimize necessary manufacturing processes
