VENTEON Finance is hiring a PAYROLL ACCOUNTING ANALYST to provide support for a healthcare client in the City of Detroit, MI. You will perform as an Accounting representative providing payroll data and related information to the Accounts Payable team, Payroll Tax team, and Audit team.
POSITION TYPE: Contract, In office. M-F 8-4:30 PM
PAY: $ 20.00 - $22.00 Per hour
Requirements of the Payroll Accounting Analyst
High school diploma required.
Minimum one to two years experience in accounting that includes reconciling financial data.
Exposure to accounts payable, payroll and / or payroll taxes helpful.
Proficiency in Excel and Word required
Duties of the Payroll Accounting Analyst
Support the Payroll Accounting team in activities such running reports to produce and analyze data, reconciling account balances, preparing payroll related wires.
Interface with Accounts payable to calculate and generate payments for payroll taxes due.
Audit and analyze payroll data and investigate and resolve balancing errors.
Verify payroll deduction files.
Handle unemployment payments and employee payroll loans. Assist with collecting the loans.
Support questions from the tax department and auditors.
