Venteon Finance is currently seeking an Accountant - Partnerships for a growing real estate investment and development company, located on the east side of metro Detroit. Our client offers a first-class office setting and a small group environment that will afford a motivated person an excellent career opportunity in a diverse accounting position.
 

Requirements of the Accountant - Partnerships

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting
• Financial accounting and general ledger experience required
• Excel and Word proficiency
• Analytical skills plus excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter, well organized, able to prioritize, effective at multi-tasking.
• Enthusiastic, excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities of the Accountant - Partnerships

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple real estate partnerships
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Prepare financial work papers to support annual audits & tax filings
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers
• Review partnership tax returns and assist with compliance documentation
• Prepare and submit IRS Form 1099s
• Support special projects in financial reporting, analysis, and regulatory compliance
