VENTEON is hiring a PLC Programmers to provide support for a client in Auburn Hills, MI
POSITION TYPE: Contract to hire. and Direct Hire Depending on Experience.
SHIFT: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
PAY RATE : $35.00-$40.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience. Overtime at time and one half.
Requirement of the PLC Programmer
Skills and Experience:
- A proven ability to work well within a team-based work environment, prioritizing plans of action to accomplish objectives
- A completed college or university program in Electrical Engineering/Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Robotic Studies, or another similar field of study
- Siemens or Allen Bradley's and HMI experience.
- Experience or interest in designing, installing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic automated equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally to customer locations
Key Accountabilities
- Problem-solve with experienced mechanical and controls engineering, and skilled trades teams throughout the programming, tryout, and installation phases of a project
- Perform PLC logic and programming duties at our facilities during the build and debug stage and at customer facilities during installation and launch phases
- Introduce programming improvements in controls and logic systems that are consistent with customer changes or manufacturing requirements
- Debug, tryout, and verify I/O signals and interference zones in the system, and document controls logic changes with our engineering team
- Lead training of PLC end-users at customer locations, providing and teaching problem-solving skills
