Construction / Operations Estimator 

Minimum 5 Years experience in Estimation 

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Construction / Operations Estimator to fill an opening with a construction company located in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in construction or restoration estimating.

Requirements of the Construction / Operations Estimator 

• Requires 2-4 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Xactimate and T&M.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the restoration field.
• Proven experience with estimating on large, full scale projects and construction estimating.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Responsibilities of the Construction / Operations Estimator 

• Creates the scope of the job.
• Communicates with insurance carriers, advisors, stake holders and all other involved parties.
• Works with the Project Manager to maintain schedule and budgets.
• Ensures the jobsite is remaining compliant with all policies and procedures including safety and environmental regulations.
• Oversees the daily production of the sub-contractors and manages any issues that arise.
• Prioritizes timely invoicing to clients and collection of monies.
