A Leading Automotive Supplier in the Monroe, Michigan needs an OT Cyber Security / Controls Engineer. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct risk assessments of OT systems and identify potential vulnerabilities
Develop and implement security measures to protect OT systems against cyber threats
Assist in the design and development of control systems for various projects
Collaborate with senior engineers to implement control strategies
Participate in the testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance
Contribute to the documentation and technical specifications of control systems
Work closely with the cybersecurity group to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures
Define security policies and procedures for OT systems
Work with both IT and OT teams to ensure holistic security across the organization
Test and evaluate security measures to improve effectiveness
Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and security technologies
Participate in incident response activities to contain and remediate security incidents
Update PLC s, HMI s, and other OT related firmware (Allen Bradley, Siemens programming.)
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science or a related field
3 + years of experience in OT security
Experience in manufacturing plant environment
