We are seeking a skilled Jr. - Mid level Network Engineer The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking protocols, troubleshooting skills, and experience with network security.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Perform network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with IT teams to develop and execute network strategies that support business objectives.
Conduct regular network performance assessments and implement necessary upgrades.
Manage network security protocols and policies to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches.
Document network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to networking.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in Cisco networking equipment and software.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
Familiarity with network security practices and technologies (e.g., VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
