Materials Manager
Minimum 3 years of Materials Management Experience
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Materials Manager to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located in West Point, GA. Must have experience with automotive materials and leadership. Experience managing a JIT facility is required.
Requirements of the Materials Manager
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or a related field
5+ years in a Materials supervisory role
Strong background in JIT operations
Strong SAP experience
Experience in highly automated environments

Responsibilities of the Materials Manager
The Materials Manager is responsible for managing incoming and outbound material, inventory levels, demand planning and personnel management within the facility
Assures adequate staffing and training to execute material flow needs.
Complete the departmental training and development plan annually.
Complete the annual performance review of each direct report and review any indirect reports for each team member in the Materials Department.
Continuous improvement of material flow thorughout the plant
Work with vendors and internal teams to monitor and optimize inventory
