Materials Manager

Minimum 3 years of Materials Management Experience

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Materials Manager to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located near Lexington, KY. Must have experience with working in a JIT environment 

Requirements of the Materials Manager

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field 
  • 7-10 years of supervisory experience 
  • SAP Experience 
  • JIT Experience

Responsibilities of the Materials Manager

  • Responsible for the overall materials function by coordinating the efforts of Purchasing Production Control, Shipping & Receiving and Inventory Control
  • Ensure an orderly and cost effective system is developed and maintained which will enable production and sales goals to be met while minimizing inventory dollars. 
  • Managing of inventory and material logistics are two of the most important accountability areas of this position
  • On-time delivery of customer ordersOptimum cost-effective utilization of personnel, equipment, and inventories
  • Helping to ensure cost-efficient operations
  • Ensure on time acquisition of items and services.
