VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling) to work in Greenville, SC. You will provide support for the Machining area.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. In Office. Long term contract (Minimum 8 months) that can lead to a direct hire position at project end). Pay is open based on degree and years of relevant work experience.
Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineer (Machining):
Preferred B.S. Engineering (or equivalent experience working in engineering role for 5+ years).
Automotive background (steel + aluminum).
Knowledgeable in Tool & Die. Experienced working with Tooling Suppliers.
Hands on experience with NC / CNC programming (Siemens 840D preferred).
Hands-on experience in machining, including turning, grinding, etc.
Experience in gear machining is a major plus.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Duties of the Manufacturing Engineer (Machining):
Support SRT (supplies, tooling, repairs) analysis and reordering.
Individually complete analysis of SRT data and cost / area analysis.
Supporting down topics and actions.
Support tooling optimizations with vendors to reduce total costs (turning, hobbing, grinding, etc.).
