Harvard Resource Solutions was recently engaged in a new search for a Manager of Attorney Recruitment on a direct hire basis for our law firm client in Detroit.
Salary Range: 130K 175K
Location: Detroit
Title: Manager of Attorney Recruitment
Working Arrangement: Hybrid -4 days in office for the first 6 months. 3 days in the office, 2 days at home is standard firm policy.

Position Description for Manager of Attorney Recruitment:
Develop and execute go-to-market plans for direct sourcing and recruiting targeted candidates.
Establish and maintain relationships with external recruiters and search firms.
Oversee the full lifecycle recruitment of lateral associates, professional track roles, patent agents, and summer associates across all departments, practice areas, and client office.
Promote and enhance the Firm s diversity recruitment efforts, including creating diversity pipelines for future hires.
Stay informed on competitive market trends and protocols in attorney recruiting.
Collaborate with the CTO to evaluate and improve the Firm s recruiting practices and performance; research, recommend, and implement changes to continuously evolve recruiting and integration processes.
Assist in developing recruiting materials and collateral for candidates and search firm contacts.
Utilize Firm technology and databases, including viDesktop, Firm Prospects, Interaction, and systems like Microsoft Office, FileSite, and Collaborate.
Mentor, train, and supervise administrative staff responsible for attorney recruitment.
Foster a collaborative and collegial department environment.
Requirements for Duties for Manager of Attorney Recruitment:
Minimum of five years of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services organization.
Bachelor s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Proficiency in a variety of software, including Firm Prospects, Microsoft Office Suite, and viRecruit.
Proven track record in recruiting lateral attorneys and summer associates in a law firm setting.
Strong client service orientation and ability to communicate effectively and inspire the recruitment team.
Excellent collaboration skills with partners and business professionals.
Creative problem-solver with high self-confidence, maturity, and excellent judgment.
