Accounting Manager Accounting and Reporting
Minimum 4+ Years experience in Accounting
Venteon is currently seeking an Accounting Manager Accounting and Reporting
to fill an opening with an Industry Leader and Employer of Choice with headquarters in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company s overall financial success.
Requirements of the Accounting Manager Accounting and Reporting
Bachelor s degree with emphasis in accounting or finance.
4+ years of corporate accounting experience.
Prior experience in external reporting or public accounting
Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
External reporting experience is a strong plus.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Understanding of Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Business Processes and Risk Assessments
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience in an overall corporate accounting functions

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager Accounting and Reporting
Assist in closing and reporting activities. Consolidate financial data to ensure complete and accurate financial statements and disclosures.
Ensure annual and quarterly reported financials have adequate support and provide external audit support for financial information as necessary.
Work with division IT and Finance leaders to extract data, and then analyze/interpret and communicate results from time to time.
Oversee and perform certain internal control activities, including the review and analysis of key account reconciliations to support division finance departments in identifying and addressing accounting and reporting matters.
Gain understanding of division operations and develop relationships with division finance and operating personnel.
Oversee the completion of certain employee benefit plan financial statements.
Attend trainings related to the above responsibilities.
