5 plus years of experience with Compliance Reporting
Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Manager, Sustainability Reporting, for a leading manufacturing company located in the Detroit area. The position will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's ESG reporting and compliance activities. This role requires an in-depth understanding of global ESG standards, regulations, and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainability initiatives.
Requirements of the Manager, Sustainability Reporting
- 5-10 years of experience
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or related field of study is required.
- MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- Experience in accounting or finance, compliance and/or regulatory reporting; recent ESG experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience with assessing, designing and implementing end-to-end processes, procedures and internal controls a plus
Responsibilities of the Manager, Sustainability Reporting
- Responsible for driving, leading and overseeing ESG reporting strategy and integrating ESG reporting into financial reporting structure.
- Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory developments and global ESG frameworks, including industry trends and best practices related to ESG reporting.
- Ensure ESG reporting compliance and coordination across all departments and locations.
- Work closely with Sustainability department to ensure strategic alignment across a wide range of ESG projects, initiatives and reporting.
